GENERAL CLEANING

Cleanify offers general domestic cleaning to homes situated in Aldinga and the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia. 

We offer regular residential cleaning at your chosen time interval. This may be daily, weekly, fortnightly or every 4 weeks.


Please note that we do not offer casual or once off cleans to new clients due to the COVID situation. If you are looking for a regular cleaning service this notice does not apply. 

We are a timed based service as we employ staff and not contractors. We pay our staff strictly in accordance to the Cleaning Award, so you are assured that the people that work in your home are treated with dignity and respect in the workplace.

For you, it also means that when we make an appointment with us, it of the utmost importance for us to keep it. 

Our team is curated of local individuals who enjoy cleaning and are trained in the Cleanify cleaning methods. We call our cleaners Cleanify Technicians. Our staff are trained, Police Cleared, have DSCI clearances, have excellent communications and people skills. It is likely that you will eventually meet all of us!

Selecting the right time for your home

It is vital to select a time block that suits your home's size, condition and budget. We train Cleanify Technicians to clean a room to a standard. 


The cleaning process

In theory, the cleaning process is straightforward - remove the soiling and disinfect the surface. We remove grease, grime, mould, scum, limescale and carbon before disinfecting. If you leave the soiling on and disinfect, this only kills some topical germs and leaves the rest to replace them within seconds. Seldom does a one-step wipe over clean a well-used surface such as kitchen bench, stovetop or bathroom fitting. Therefore, removing soiling is the most time-consuming process.

During COVID, occupants rely on a cleaner to clean the everyday surfaces. We have a time recommendation list for your convenience as a reference point. Over time, it will become clear how long your home takes for the routine clean, and hopefully, this time reduces, provided that the soiling decreases.​


Getting the time just right

If the workload is more significant than the time allocated, it puts stress on your cleaner and gives you a service that may not cover all of the essentials. Reducing the clean frequency and allowing adequate time to ensure that all areas are covered at least once makes a huge difference.


​Another option is opting for a first time spring clean that is the double or triple time of a routine clean to address the soiling, get the home to standard, and proceed with regular cleaning afterwards to handle everyday dirt. An easy way to distinguish between everyday dirt and build-up is the length of time the soiling has been where it is.


Do we leave early?

If you have booked a 2-hour service, you will receive a 2-hour service. If the cleaning time is too long or too short, we will adjust the next booked clean with your approval. 

Our cleaners are trained and work effectively and efficiently. We track our staff via GPS for the safety and logistics of our business. In addition, every home we service has a job plan that involves additional tasks for the cleaner to do if we have spare time. 

 

BEFORE THE CLEAN

Some important things to note before you book a clean with us.

WILL THE CLEANER CLEAN MY WHOLE HOME IN THE TIME BOOKED?

A cleaner will work for the time booked only. The Time Recommendations listed above provide an approximate guide of how long it takes to complete a General Clean on a property. 

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

Once you have booked your clean, you will receive an email or call from us. We will have a chat to discuss your requirements. A cleaner will arrive at the time allocated.

HOW DO I PREPARE MY WET AREAS FOR CLEANING?

When we clean wet areas, we remove all personal items (toiletries, clothing, towels, decorations) out of the room.  Save yourself money by relocating these items before the cleaner arrives.

DO I NEED TO CLEAN BEFORE THE CLEANER?

Leave the cleaning to us! We recommend that you tidy your property before our service.

WHAT ABOUT MY PETS?

Please ensure all pets are secure prior to our arrival. We do not clean up pet messes including any excrement, urine, litter trays, hair, food, bowls or beds.

CAN I HELP CLEAN?

The areas for cleaning must be vacant for Work Health and Safety.

DOES ANYONE NEED TO BE THERE?

You may stay, leave after letting us in or leave a key with the manager.

HOW DO YOU CHARGE?

We invoice all clients. You will receive an invoice from us within 2 days of completion of your service.

CANCELLATION

It's okay life happens! Please provide as much notice as you can 24 hours is great but emergencies do happen.

Before commencing any job we like to chat with the owners of the space. We work to a checklist and achieve as much as we can in the time booked.

PRODUCTS AND EQUIPMENT

We supply products and equipment. Our products are commercial grade.

DIRT, GRIME, BUILD UP & MOULD

Some stains can attach themselves to surfaces over time.  Regular cleaning helps to clear this away. Your space will become better over time. If we cannot clean a particular spot than we may suggest the services of another professional.

DO YOUR WORK WITH THE NDIS OR OTHER AGENCIES?

We serve clients from all walks of life. If your booking is from an external agency please let us know.

The tidy includes the removal of rubbish and placing items neatly.

We can remove items from cupboard or fridge, clean the space and then replace.
